Do i need a jock for dancing?

Do i need a jock for dancing?

im going to be a in a very dance heavy musical should i wear a jockstrap or a running/swimming supporter to keep my boys outa the way? if so what kind?
And i don't want to wear a dance belt to all the rehearsals
