Any good books that u can recommend for me to read?

Question:

Any good books that u can recommend for me to read?

I have read lots of books, and dont know what to choose next.

I normally read things like :
tory Hayden books
Have read all of the dave pelzer books
Autobiography books
Crime/thriller books etc

But cant seem to think of any good ones at the moment that i can get...any ideas?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It looks like you don't mind books involving gritty, emotional struggle story lines seeing as you've read Tory Hayden's and Dave Pelzer's books. So, from your list I'd recommend you try The Lovely Bones or Lucky, both by Alice Sebold.

The Lovely Bones is about a a 14 year old girl who is murdered on her way home from school one day. The story is told from her perspective as a ghost and follows how her family cope with her untimely death and what becomes of her killer. It's a brilliant story told with much sympathy and one you will find hard to forget after you finish it.

Lucky is Alice Sebold's memoir of her rape ordeal from when she was an 18 year old College student. It begins very sharply and you get thrown straight into her life. She chronicles how her life changes after her rape and how she changes in the eyes of her family and friends as a result. It's a story of true courage and strength.
