Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It has to be hagrid, there is no other real choice. He was Gryffindor himself as a student, albeit for a limited time, and he has the respect of hte whole House. The tenacious character associated with Gryffindor's students also matches Hagrid's own. It will be good to see him finally accepted back as a fully functioning member of the school faculty.
